Kyambogo University (Department of Electrical and Electronics) has received a donation of biomedical engineering training equipment from Amalthea Trust Foundation, a UK based charity organisation. The equipment were delivered to the university and received in the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eli Katunguka Rwakishaya from Mr. Bilkhu Jas and Mr. Rey, the biomedical engineering experts and volunteers working with the National Health Services (NHS), UK.
The equipment included the anaesthetic machine, the electrical safety tester, the defibrillators, patient monitors, springe drivers among others.
The diploma in Biomedical Engineering is hosted in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering
